Terms of Use

Welcome to SpendPulse. By downloading, installing, or using the SpendPulse application (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Description of Service

SpendPulse is a personal spending insight tool. It lets you record transactions on your iPhone and surfaces patterns around mood, time of day, day of week, and category — all computed locally on your device. The App does not connect to your bank, broker, or any third-party financial service.

Not financial advice. SpendPulse is an insight and awareness tool. It is not a financial planner, accountant, tax preparer, or licensed advisor. Insights are generated from the transactions you record and should not be relied on for tax, accounting, lending, or investment decisions. Always use your own judgment and consult a qualified professional when needed.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SpendPulse. If you are under 18, you should have your parent or guardian's permission. SpendPulse is suitable for all ages but is designed for adults managing their own spending.

3. Subscriptions and Pricing

Free Tier: SpendPulse offers a free tier with limited monthly transactions and a one-line Weekly Pulse summary.
Pro Subscription: Pro features are sold as auto-renewable subscriptions managed by Apple via StoreKit.
Pricing: Pro Monthly ($6.99/month) and Pro Annual ($49.99/year). Prices may vary by region; the in-app paywall always shows the current price for your store.
Free Trial: New subscribers may be offered an introductory free trial as displayed on the in-app paywall. You will be charged at the end of the trial unless you cancel before it ends.
Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period.
Cancellation: You can cancel at any time through iPhone Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Refunds: All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests should be directed to Apple Support at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. Standard EULA

In addition to these Terms, your use of the App is governed by Apple's Standard EULA: https://www.apple.com/legal/internet-services/itunes/dev/stdeula/.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use SpendPulse to:

Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the App;
Resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the App without our written permission;
Use automated means to interact with the App in a way that disrupts service;
Use the App in violation of any applicable law or regulation.

6. Privacy and Data Storage

SpendPulse stores all your data locally on your iPhone using Apple's SwiftData framework. We do not operate any servers that receive your financial data. See our Privacy Policy for details.

7. AI-Generated Content

On iOS 26 and later, SpendPulse uses Apple Intelligence (on-device Foundation Models) to generate the Weekly Pulse, category suggestions, and pattern summaries. On earlier iOS versions, a deterministic statistical engine produces equivalent insights. In both cases, AI-generated content is for your awareness only and may be imperfect or incomplete.

8. Intellectual Property

SpendPulse, including its name, logo, design, code, and content, is owned by JunSoft Mobile Inc. and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, JunSoft Mobile Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the prior 12 months.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the App or via an updated effective date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.
